World's largest acquirer PayPal recently botched up with its accounts, thereby making a Philadelphia man richer by a whopping 92 quadrillion dollars.
Buzz is that PayPal, a global e-commerce site that processes payment for online vendors, made an error in one of its transactions and credited 92 quadrillion dollars into Chris Reynolds account.
Reynolds got to know about his “good fortune” that lasted only for a few minutes, when he checked his monthly statement email that showed a credit of 92,233,720,368,547,800 dollars. When he checked his bank balance online, it however, showed zero.
Reynolds, who has had an account with PayPal for nearly ten years, used it to buy and sell things.
When asked jokingly what would he done with all that money had that stayed in his account, Chris quipped that he would have paid the “national debt and buy Phillies if he got the right price.”
PayPal, however, refused to comment on the matter.
