In a horrific incident reported in the UAE, a man of Asian origin was held by the cops in Sharjah for repeatedly reprimanding his son with electric shocks.

Commenting on this heinous act of child abuse, Ahmed Ibrahim Al Tartour, the Director of children rights at Sharjah Social Services Centre, affirmed that the father repeatedly abused his son with electric shocks.

Not only that, the man was abusive towards his wife and frequently beat her down.

As soon as the officials at the children right center were informed about the abuse, they rushed to the rescue of the little boy along with Sharjah police.

Shocking mobile phone video clips, shot by his wife, showed how the father tortured the boy with electric shocks. The footage, shot without his knowledge, show him electrocuting the young boy in several instances.

“Violence against children is a serious crime and the UAE as well as international laws all punish domestic abusers and also protect the rights of children,” concluded Al Tartour.
