India discloses cure for Horrifying deadly virus!

Finally, an affordable vaccine have been revealed by the Scientists to defeat a deadly diarrhoea-causing virus named as Rotavirus. It has been further learned about the virus to have been killing around 100,000 children in India every year and known to be causing dehydration and severe diarrhoea keeping it on the global height being responsible for some 453,000 deaths annually and is particularly threatening in Africa and Asia, where access to urgent health care generally seems to be out of reach.

K. Vijaraghavan who is the secretary of India’s Department of Biotechnology which guided the course of the hunt for an affordable rotavirus vaccine, said it was a product of international cooperation, even though the fact remain that it has yet to be approved by New Delhi where in he added that the result is a world-class vaccine for India’s children. He was known to have mentioned that it's for the first time that they have taken a vaccine from the ahead of time discovery to every stage of development and that is a very remarkable thing for India and that that the dollar-a-dose oral vaccine was ready for production.

Arousing great interest, that the vaccine named Rotavac will be manufactured by Hyderabad-based Bharat Biotech pharmaceutical firm which has disclosed that it has the capacity to mass produce 60 million doses after clearance is given where in each vaccination consists of three doses.

The Chronic virus is deadly

The chronic Rotavirus according to what scientists said, has been intensely deadly and it's been the reason for causing up to 884,000 hospitalisations in India a year, at a cost to the country of Rs3.4 billion. Vijaraghavan added that they have at present added to their know-how and capacity in ways which will pay dividends for development of future solutions.

On the other hand, Sushmita Malaviya of Path, an international health care organisation which is also part of the Rotavac programme expressed her view saying that each dose of licenced vaccines from GlaxoSmithKline and Merc cost around Rs1,000 which may not be affordable for everyone.

M.K. Bhan, who pioneered the project after local scientists discovered a localised rotavirus 23 years ago in a New Delhi hospital, said the development was a blessing for India’s dilapidated public health service. Total 25 per cent of all diarrhoeal admissions would be prevented by this and that means we will have 25 per cent less diarrhoeal illnesses of severe nature in India which is a very considerable amount of elevation in the public health system adding to the fact that they have a good vaccine which will be useful and they will do post-marketing surveillance and keep gathering more experience.

While making it a horrifying record according to a report by “Save the Children” that more than 300,000 babies are known to be dying within a span of 24 hours of being born in India every year. Quiet mournfully, the cause remain due to the chronic infections and other hampering results.

It's certainly horrific!
