Before you put money into body-hugging garment, know some health issues it holds if worn on a regular basis or for a prolonged time. Though putting on shapewear makes you look alluring, they simultaneously push you into unwelcomed health complications.
Lead to Ingrown Hairs
Wearing tight or figure-hugging clothes can increase the friction in your private parts giving rise to ingrown hairs. Moreover, bacteria can also get trapped in the hair follicles and cause folliculitis that shows up as red bumps.
Blood Clotting
Wearing tight clothing for a prolonged time could lead to blood clotting or varicose veins. Since the blood vessels in your legs are not strong enough to get the better of the stranglehold of body slimmers, it causes the blood to pool, stretching your veins. The pressure makes the veins inflate like balloons. Taking a brisk walk every five minutes to make muscles squeeze the blood back up toward the heart.
Lack of Sensation
The pressure your body tackles when you wear figure-hugging garment leads to restricting circulation. These clothing can also lead to a condition called meralgia paresthetica which can lead to tingling, pain, and numbness in your lower body.
Abode to Bacteria
Of course, when you wear something so figure-hugging it will make you sweat excessively, actually more than usual and that sweat and moisture can turn a breeding ground for bacteria.
Gives You Bad Posture
You are completely wrong if you think tight dresses will improve your posture. Because that cinched-in effect might temporarily make you stand taller. Eventually, it will weaken your core muscles making it difficult for you to stand straight.
