Your first meal of the day should be easy to prepare yet nutritious. Skipping breakfast can make you to overeat later in the day. Consider this simple breakfast recipe with eggs before rushing to your work in the morning.

Time required: 20 minutes.

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Unsalted butter, softened: 1 table spoon
Heavy cream: 8 tablespoons
Large eggs: 8
Kosher salt and black pepper: for taste
Chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley and dill): 1 tablespoon
Toast, for serving

Directions:

• Heat oven to 425° F.
• Coat four 4-ounce ramekins with the butter.
• Place 2 tablespoons cream in each ramekin.
• Crack 2 eggs into each ramekin;
• Season with ½ teaspoon salt and ¼ teaspoon pepper.
• Bake until the whites are set, 10 to 12 minutes.
• Sprinkle with the herbs and serve with toast.
