Ingredients
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 3/4 cup plain flour (maida)
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- Salt to taste
- Bread crumbs for rolling
- Oil for deep-frying
To Be Ground Into A Smooth Paste
- 1/2 cup roughly chopped onions
- 1/2 tbsp roughly chopped green chilies
- 1 tsp roughly chopped ginger (adrak)
- Salt to taste
Direction
1. In a blender, add onions, green chilies, ginger, salt and a little water and blend to a smooth paste and keep it aside.
2. Parboil the cauliflower florets in salted water and drain the water from the cauliflower and keep it aside.
3. In a bowl, plain flour, cornflour, salt, and 1 cup of water and mix it well and make a thick batter and in a plate spread the bread crumbs.
4. Dip the parboiled cauliflower florets one by one in the batter and roll in the bread crumbs till they are evenly coated from all the sides.
5. Heat the oil in a kadhai and deep-fry a few cauliflower at the time and fry till they turn golden brown in color from all the sides.
6. Drain on an absorbent paper and serve it with cheese sauce.
