Sidharth Malhotra teamed up with super talented Katrina Kaif for the movie Baar Baar Dekho which has been a sensation before the release. The trailer and the songs of the film received exceptional response from the audience which heaped up the expectations on the film. Nitya Mehra who worked for many successful films as a writer turned director with the movie which has been based on time travel.

Baar Baar Dekho released all over on September 9th and the movie received mixed response from the audience. It has been revealed that the second half of the film is a complete boring feast and is the reason for the film to drop down. Baar Baar Dekho could not fare well in its first weekend and the movie minted Rs 21.16 crores in its first weekend which is low when compared to the buzz on the movie. Karan Johar along with Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani produced Baar Baar Dekho on Dharma Productions and Excel Entertainments banners.
