Karisma Kapoor and Sanjay Kapoor are in trouble times due to their ongoing divorce battle, which is getting uglier day after day. But, not a single word regarding the issue was uttered by either Karisma or Kareena Kapoor Khan, who is close to her sister.

Kareena's recent statement indicates that both the sisters would continue to maintain silence further over the issue. During Kareena's interaction with the Hindustan Times, she said, “Karisma is going through a tough time and that she (Kareena) is very protective of her sister.” She added that irrespective of what is written or talked about the affair, they have not said anything and would not say anything in the future.

Earlier, Karisma's estranged husband claimed that she married him for money, after which the actress registered an FIR at the Khar Police Station against Sanjay and his mother Rani Sunder Kapur  alleging them of mental harassment, according to a report from Mid-Day.  

The estranged couple even withdrawn consent to split and the petition of divorce on mutual consent, some time back. Being a Delhi based businessman, Sanjay filed an application at SC seeking the case transfer to  Delhi from Mumbai due to life threat to him from underworld don Ravi Pujara.
