TV actress, Antara Banerjee is making her Bollywood debut in a full fledge role in ‘Yeh Hai India’, a political drama. Banerjee made a cameo appearance in ‘The Shaukeens’.

G.K Yogesh and Lom Harsh will jointly direct ‘Yeh Hai India’and Sandeep Choudhary is producing the film under the banner of DLB Films Pvt. Ltd

The actress is paired against Ashutosh Kaushik in the film. Ashutosh Kaushik is ‘Bigg Boss 2’ fame and winner of ‘Roadies 5’. Antara plays as a passionate journalist in the film.

Antara said, “As an actor, when you work on a character, you don’t think about anything else. You just think of yourself as the character and that’s it. I am very honest as an actor and thus believe in giving full justice to my role on screen.”

“The sheer experience of working with director Lom Harsh, my producer and other senior members in the team, was extremely wonderful. My most fond memory is not the day when I got my first role as an actor or my first film but all those experiences while working with the cast of ‘Yeh Hai India’. I am really proud of my decision,” Antara added.

Antara earlier featured popular programs like Savdhan India, Gumrah and many other commercials.
