Once again, Irrfan Khan leaves an indelible impact on his viewers with his performance and sheer acting prowess in the trailer of Madaari, which has been released recently. Madaari is scheduled to hit the theatres on 10 June 2016.
In Madaari, Irrfan plays a common man role. He loses his son in an accident and holds the Home Minister responsible for the incident. To seek justice, he kidnaps the minister's son.
Irrfan is seen delivering powerful dialogues with an emotion so convincing in the trailer. Audience con only feel the man’s pain for losing everything. Actor Jimmy Shergill plays the role of a cop. The cop will be in pursuit of Irrfan's character on the Home Minister's directive.
Madaari is directed by Nishikant Kamat and is said to be loosely based on a real-life event. The event took place in suburban Marol, Mumbai, two years back, at an under-construction overhead Metro bridge on the Andheri-Kurla Road. The result of the event was injuries to many people as well.
