Director Ram Gopal Varma has wondered about ‘Rajini phenomenon’ in a series of tweets on Sunday. Expressing his admiration f superstar Rajinikanth, he wondered how was it possible for somebody of Rajini’s looks could become a superstar.
The comments from RGV came after a picture tweeted by actor Amy Jackson. The pic had herself and Rajinikanth. It came with the comments, saying, “I don't think I've ever looked so happy on a photograph. Rajiniji, I feel super honoured to be acting alongside you.”
As always, Rajini was seen in his off-screen avatar that had no wig and no make-up. Expecting the backlash from the fans of ‘Thalaivar’, Varma tweeted saying that, “some fans of Rajinikanth, didn’t even realise that I was only complimenting the superstar.”
