Amitabh sings national anthem
The highlight was Amitabh singing national anthem at the Eden Gardens on Saturday before the India-Pakistan match. According to a CAB official, the star has not charged a penny for singing.
Earlier, a report went viral which suggested that approximately 4 crores were charged by Amitabh for his appearance. This forced fans to question the star’s patriotism. The air was made clear on Sunday by a top official. The official denied the payment of money to Amitabh and added that he booked his flight tickets and even paid hotel bills himself.
