Very recently, Shahrukh Khan had gone through several controversies over his comment on intolerance in India. In this wake, SRK said that he would not answer or comment on any matter related to politics or religion.
When asked to comment on the cancellation of the concert of Pakistani ghazal maestro Ghulam Ali in Mumbai, SRK said to reporters that, “Unfortunately because of the reactions I get when I answer something political or religious, I don’t think I will answer this question.” Now, Ali is scheduled to perform tomorrow in Kolkata.
Earlier, Khan said that there is “extreme intolerance” in India, which created a furore. He even agreed that the controversy also showed the impact on the collections of his latest film ‘Dilwale’.
SRK even avoided the question concerning the reduction of his security cover by the Mumbai Police, during a launch program of the ‘Shades of Bengal’ book by Nerolac Paints.
“I miss them. Sometimes I give them a call to ask about their well-being. They used to take food for me and we used to eat ‘puri’ and rice together,” he said.
