Sequel mania seems to be gripping B-town like never before. As Bollywood buffs continue to hanker for more of what they once loved, the moviemakers have little to do but dish out sequels. Let's check out some of the  big sequels lined up for release in 2014.

Saket Chaudhary directs Farhan Akhtar & Vidya Balan
While Pyaar Ke Side Effects took a big at the pitfalls of falling in love, the sequel goes a step further to unravel the farce behind marriage. USP: The 'side effects' concept has been popular because it explores complexity in relationships in a witty way. The promos of Shaadi Ke Side Effects promise situational comedy created out of marital troubles and the win-win combo of Vidya Balan and Farhan Akhtar only adds up to the interest.

Hate Story 2
Sequel to Hate Story (2012)
Release Date: Yet to be confirmed
Vishal Pandya directs Surveen Chawla & Sushant Singh
Back with an all new cast and a new story, the erotic thriller, just like its prequel, will have a similar narrative, about a sly woman gunning for revenge against a powerful man who ruined her life. Surveen Chawla plays the heroine while Sushant Singh is cast as the antagonist.

Singham 2
Sequel to Singham (2011)
Opens: August 15
Rohit Shetty directs Ajay Devgn
Rohit Shetty is all set to return with Ajay Devgn playing the honest cop Bajirao Singham in the sequel to the 2011 hit. Expect lots of kicks and flying cars as Singham goes about eliminating corrupt villains. Kareena Kapoor  will join Devgn this time.
