Grand Masti had a grand opening weekend. The team is celebrating the film's 69.50 crore earnings since its release, making it one of the most profitable movies this year. As the masti continues, the movie is cruising on to take a place in the elite 100 Crore club. This is one trashy film that has managed to laugh all the way to the bank, having already earned more than 100% profit.

Ritesh Deshmukh, for some reason, said he is saying goodbye to the adult comedy genre. He was actually the most appreciated for his performance in Grand Masti, which is a loud and perverted portrayal of three hormonal married men.

Nevermind the beating it received from the critics, Grand Masti has raked in nearly 70 crores so far. After a grand 12.50 crore opening, the film's first weekend saw 40 crores in its spacious pockets. The movie managed to downplay Phata Poster Nikhla Hero and the Lunchbox, which released around the same time. Lunchbox is picking up fast, but Shahid's funny act is facing a few speedbreakers.

Grand Masti shows no signs of slowing down. Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi did not know when the shooting progressed, that the movie could pick up such speed. Made on an average budget, Grand Masti has made many very happy, besides the amused viewers of course.
