Former UPA Union law minister and Karnataka governor Hans Raj Bhardwaj have slammed Congress, calling it too weak to fight the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Bhardwaj said that Congress party and its vice president Rahul Gandhi are out of touch with the ground reality.

He also questioned senior Congress leaders for threatening to disrupt the upcoming Monsoon Session of Parliament over former Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi controversy, involving External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje.
