After the meeting on the interim government was held by the key organisers along with the president Mohammed Shahabuddin, Nobel Laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus will be the chief advisor of the interim government

The 84 year old economist has agreed to the student leaders head request and accepted the proposal according to David Bergman. He is reportedly staying in Paris, and said to the reporters, “ I told the student leaders, I Did not want to do this, It is not what I do, but how can I refuse their request after all that you have done.”

Through his microfinancing Grameen Bank, lifted many people in Bangladesh from poverty. But he was also convicted in the violation of the labour law early this year and many say that he was targeted by Hasina.

Shahbuddin has dissolved the parliament of Bangladesh which was formed by Hasina on January 7th after winning the election. With three chief staff of the armed forces, leaders of different political parties, civil society representatives and the anti-discrimination student movement in attendance, the President has taken his decision and released a press note.

Bangladesh former prime minister Hasina, after fleeing from the country, reached India on a military aircraft and reportedly sought asylum in the UK. Her stay in India will continue for a while as the UK requires asylum applicants to present before them physically, which will not happen now. The UK is also facing severe chaos in the country because of the protests against the non immigrants and even a hotel of asylums was burnt.

Besides this, Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association AM Mahbub Uddin Khokon has asked India to arrest Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehna, as reported in Daily Star.

On the flip side, former Bangladesh prime minister and key opposition leader Khaleda Zia was released from jail.

Bangladesh has an interim government to overcome the crisis and also asked for the other political parties to suggest for the members.

There is also another conspiracy going on after the appointment of Mohammad Yunus. Critics call it as “America got its man on seat”. His name was being suggested from the time Sheikh Hasina resigned from the office. Vijay Patel, one of the activists and also the person behind the Bangladesh regime change, says Yunus is the winner of the famous Ramon Magsaysay Award and becoming the advisor of the country will help the country.
