Amogh Lila Das, an engineer by profession and converted to a monk was banned for his controversial remarks about philosopher Swami Vivekananda and his guru Ramakrishna Paramahamsa. Iskcon has released a press release and made it official that Amogh Lila Prabhu has made unacceptable remarks about Swami Vivekananda and his guru. Amogh Lila is however staying far from social media for a month over his comments.
Amogh Lila Das is from Lucknow and into the spiritual way from a very young. he left his house in search of God in 2000 after completing his class 12. Later he persuaded his engineering in 2004 and started working at a US-based MNC. At the age of 29, he dedicated himself to Krishna Brahmacharyam by joining ISKCON. He served as a vice president of the Iskcon temple in Delhi Dwaraka. Amogh was known for his spiritual talks.
Will a virtuous man ever eat fish, while addressing a public gathering, he took a dig at Vivekananda and his guru by passing these statements. He questioned Vivekananda for consuming fish, that says, how can a monk harm an animal? The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) has banned Amogh Lila for months period now.
