Another incident has been registered, a mass shooting has been reported in the USA. During a high school graduation ceremony, a 19-year-old male suspect opened fire on the crowd. Hundreds of people were standing outside a high school graduation ceremony on Tuesday evening in Richmond, Virginia when the fire was opened. Two were killed and 13 were injured in the incident.
A graduation ceremony was being held at Altria Theatre for Huguenot High School. The shooting resulted in a stampede as the individuals were worried about their loved ones and also because of the panic created. Richmond Intermin Police Chief Rick Edwards reported when people tried to escape from the incident a 9-year-old girl was hit by a car.
In this incident, an 18-year-old and a 36-year-old were killed. Five others have suffered injuries and one victim sustaining with life-threatening injuries.
The suspect was taken into custody and the second person who was in custody was determined to be not involved in the shooting. The identities of the injured and the suspects were not released. Mayor Levar Stoney had addressed a media conference and said they going to do everything to bring justice for the kin.
The gun culture was protected by Second Amendment to the United States Constitution. This is now taking many innocent lives.
