Russia has intensified war against Ukraine which has been going on from the past few months. Several nations like India and USA warned Russia but the nation was not in a mood to calm down. More than 105 people got injured and 20 people were killed in the recent assaults by Russia on the cities of Ukraine that took place on Monday. The attacks came 48 hours after a bridge connecting Russia and Ukraine was blown away. Later after the Russian attacks, India voted against the Russia's demand for a secret ballot in the UN General Assembly to condemn the illegal annexation of the four regions of Ukraine by Russia. Moscow has been demanding for a secret ballot and it was rejected after India along with 107 UN member states have voted in favour for a recorded note. The Indian Embassy located in Ukraine issued an advisory for the Indian nationals to avoid travel to and within Ukraine considering the situations.

After Russia staged aerial assaults, explosions were noted in Lviv, Kyiv, Zhytomyr and Ternopil which are located in the western part of Ukraine. Dnipro and Kremenchuk are the cities that were attacked in the central part and Zaporizhzhia in the south and Kharkiv that is located in the eastern part of Ukraine. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a discussion with US President Joe Biden and he wrote on Telegram that the air defense remains as the top priority in the defence cooperation. The Ukraine government official Emine Dzheppar tweeted "The very first #russian missile strikes on #Ukraine's capital. This is how the morning started in #Kyiv. More explosions followed. We call on Int'l community to act one voice, impose more sanctions, recognize #russia as terrorist state. Russia must be punished now!". India said that it is deeply concerned at the escalation after Russia hit Ukraine in the recent days.
