Russia has become the first country to complete Human trials of Covid Vaccine

The whole world is working towards finding a vaccine for the deadly coronavirus and Russia becomes the first country to complete the human trials of the Covid-19 vaccine.
As the world is stuck under the rising COVID-19 cases and people across are succumbed to the virus and trying to accept the new normal. Scientists around are working tirelessly to find the vaccine or a perfect cure for this deadly virus. People have been losing homes, jobs and lives because of this virus and it is not seeming to end anytime soon.
In the midstof this chaos one university from Russia has completed the human trials of the vaccine. , Russia's Sechenov University has successfully completed the world's first trials of coronavirus vaccine on humans. The director of the Institute for Translational Medicine and Biotechnology VadimTarasovconfirmed this news to the local news body.
In his statement the director of the Institute said that they have successfully completed tests on volunteers of the world’s first vaccine against coronavirus.
The clinical trials of the vaccine began on the 18th of June 2020 and the first batch of volunteers would be discharged on July 15th and the second batch on July 20th.
The vaccine which has completed the human trials was produced by Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology in Russia.
As far as the data obtained by the clinical tests of the vaccine produced by Gamalei Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology in Russia is concerned, both the batches of volunteers are forming an immunity response after being injected by the vaccine against the coronavirus. This was confirmed by Russian Defence Ministry even before the trials were finished.
The director of the Institute of Medical Parasitology, Tropical and Vector-Borne Diseases at Sechenov University Alexander Lukashev said the safety of this vaccine, in correspondance with the safety of other medicines available in the market, is confirmed.
With this Russia has become the first country to complete human clinical trials of COVID-19 vaccine and though the results are not all out they definitely prove the effectiveness of the medicine. There is still reports and data of post clinical trials to come out and there is no official statement on the production stage of this vaccine and the World Health Organisation also has not confirmed any of the above mentioned.
There are at least 21 vaccines currently under key pre-clinical trials and over 5 of them have reached the human trial stage, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO). WHO have also mentioned that the vaccine will not be availabe till the early next year.
As of Sunday morning, the global number of COVID-19 cases stood at 12,681,472, while the death toll climbing to 564,420, according to Johns Hopkins University in the US.
The US accounted for the world's highest number of infections and fatalities at 3,245,158 and 134,764 while Brazil is in the second place with 1,839,850 infections and 71,469 deaths and India stands at the 3rd place with 8,78,000confirmed cases and over 23,174 deaths.
