Budget Sessions Likely to Begin from January 31 in Two Phases

The budget sessions are likely to be made on January 31 and the presentation of the union budget might be done on February 1 where in the budget session of the parliament is said to be held in two phases which is the first phase running from January 31 to February 11 and the second phase from March 2 to April 3.

This will turn out to be the third session of the Parliament after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi has retained power with the first two sessions being productive as the government has passed important bills like triple talaq, Citizenship Amendment Act and article 370 which bifurcates Jammu and Kashmir into two union territories.

It is said that, the third session will discuss about the general budget which is aimed to give more boosters to the economy. The legislations like labour reforms and the surrogacy bill that are pending will be focused on as it is under review by a House panel.

The officials say that the union budget presentation for 2020-21 is as of now on February 1 by Nirmala Sitharaman. According to the experts the presentation will be more of a balancing act than being a support for the expanding aggression.
