ICPA Extends Full Support To Government’s Fight Against Terrorism

India-Pakistan Tensions: Indian Commercial Pilots Association on Thursday extended its full support and co-operation to government in country’s fight against terrorism, says consider it as a second line of defence after armed forces, ANI reported
In a letter sent to PMO, “ICPA being a patriotic and responsible union would like to extend complete support and co-operation in all operations as the situation demands. We will support the government and the PMO in this fight against terrorism.”
“We, as Air Indians take pride and feel duty bound towards national interest and pledge our support to the nation and as pilots we consider ourselves as the second line of defence after the armed forces to serve our country,” ICPA stated.
After India’s Air strikes on Tuesday morning, Pakistan jets violated Indian airspace and attempted to target military installations in our side of line of country yesterday.
Indian Air Force foiled the Pakistan Air Force’s attempt and shot down one F-16 jet of Pakistan. IAF have lost MiG 21 fighter jet and Pilot who landed on the other side of the LoC after his plane crashed, was taken in custody by Pakistan Army.
