Georgian leaders and also officials have expressed their deep concern over the Monday night terror attack at the Manchester Arena, which left at least 22 dead and also nearly 60 injured.
Giorgi Kvirikashvili, the Georgian Prime Minister has extended his condolences to the families of the deceased in the attack.
"On behalf of the Government and the people of Georgia, I offer my sincere condolences to the Government of Great Britain and to the English people. We wholeheartedly share your sorrow in this challenging time. I believe that the civilized world will launch even more vigorous efforts against terrorism and as a united force we will achieve peace across the world," stated the PM.
BBC reported that the blast happened at around 22:35 BST on Monday at the last of a pop concert by Ariana Grande, a US singer.
The explosion occurred just shortly after the singer has left the stage at the arena, which is the city's largest indoor venue with 21,000 concert capacity.
The Greater Manchester Police have said that a lone male attacker, who also died in the blast, was carrying the improvised explosive device which he detonated.
Amber Rudd, the Home Secretary said that it was a barbaric attack, which deliberately targeted at only some of the most vulnerable.
The prime minister is going to chair a meeting of the government's emergency Cobra committee.
The explosion occurred close to the entrance of Victoria train and the tram station has been closed and all the trains were cancelled.
