The United States First Lady Michelle Obama launched a scathing take-down of Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, calling his sexually aggressive comments about women "disgraceful" and "intolerable."
The 52-year-old first lady, said that, "This wasn't locker room banter. This was a powerful individual speaking freely and openly about sexually predatory behavior. And actually bragging about kissing and groping women."
"It doesn't matter what party you belong to, Democrat, Republican, independent, no woman deserves to be treated this way. No one deserves this kind of abuse."
"It has shaken me to my core in a way that I couldn't have predicted," she said. "This is not normal. It is not politics as usual. This is disgraceful. It is intolerable."
"The phony story in the failing @nytimes is a TOTAL FABRICATION," Trump posted on Twitter. But Michelle Obama nevertheless attacked him with a vengeance.
"The men in my life do not talk about women like this," she said. "This is not how decent human beings behave and this is certainly not how someone who wants to be president of the United States behaves."
The first lady warned that if Trump were elected, "we're telling our sons that it's okay to humiliate women. We're telling our daughters that this is how they deserve to be treated."
