A giant Atlanta hotel builder, Winter Construction is gearing up to build the Solis hotel at Two Porsche Drive near Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport’s international terminal.
The hotel is expected to be opened in the Fall of 2017. There will be 214 rooms and suites adding a 6,500-square feet of event space in the hotel. The event space also includes a 3,600 square-foot ballroom. The glass, aluminum and metal exterior of the hotel will complement the Porsche headquarters’ sleek aesthetics.
Solis has hotels in Russia, Ireland, and China and also planning for new hotels in Qatar, Indonesia, and Orlando, Florida.
Winter chief executive Brent Reid said in a statement that, “We are thrilled to be working on this significant design-build hospitality project.”
“We’re no strangers to rolling out hotel brands such as the first Hotel Indigo and the AC Hotel in Atlanta and the first Aloft in Charlotte so we’re excited to add the prestigious Solis brand to our experience,” Winter’s Director of Hospitality Ken Smith said.
