Mohammad Javad Zarif, Iran’s Foreign Minister has handed over the recent landmark nuclear deal reached with world powers to Iran’s Parliament so that the country’s lawmakers will be able to review the deal.
The sources revealed that Mr. Zarif submitted the text of the agreement to the House. Iran’s Constitution allows Parliament to reject even the deal negotiated by the Foreign Ministry.
Authorizing measures resulting in the end of U.N. sanctions, the U.N. Security Council collectively endorsed the Iran nuclear deal to harness in Iran’s nuclear program.
Mr. Zarif flags down the resolution as “unique” in a speech in Parliament. The Foreign Minister said he expected the deal to be “the last resolution about Iran’s nuclear issue” a reference to numerous past U.N. measures.
