Another flood threat for Kedarnath temple is making the priests of the temple spend sleepless nights.
The famous temple of Kedarnath that was hit by floods among other areas in the State of Uttarakhand in the month of June is again in the threat of another round of floods as rivers Mandakini and Saraswati are flowing above danger level in addition to which the Charbari Himaneedam is flowing high from behind the temple.
The devasting floods caused heavy damage in Uttarakhand with loss of life and private and public properties in the month of June. The calamity that made many local residents and piligrims stranded and many people homeless is the biggest one after 2004 tsunami.
Now as the nightmare is still fresh in the minds, a small indication of floods also making the residents tremble with fear.
