Manmohan Singh is on the firing line again, blame it on the missing coalgate files. And cashing in on the opportunity is the opposition that is hellbent on ruining our PM's peace for it.
Warning that the opposition should refrain from drawing hasty conclusion and lashing out at the opposition, the silent leader said that the government has nothing to hide. The PM assured that he will launch a deep probe to locate the missing files and assured that the guilty would be soon nabbed and punished.
He clarified that the government has already handed out over a lakh files and was willing to co-operate further on this matter.
"The government will follow the SC order in action. Government will hand over the files in the stipulated time. In case the government is unable to provide some documents, we will act according to the instructions," the Prime Minister said.
The Opposition, however, remained dissatisfied saying the Prime Minister has not answered the questions. There was uproar in both Houses after the Prime Minister's statement.
