In a dramatic turn of events, One of the Boston bombing suspects is killed in a shootout with security agencies . However the second accused is on the run and said to be armed and dangerous. The FBI and Boston Police sources told reporters.
The shootout happened inside Massachusetts Institute of Technology campus where a policeman also lost his life. Explosions and machine gun fire rocked the Watertown area for a couple of hours before FBI neutralized one of the suspects.
The Police refused to reveal the identity of the accused duo saying it is too early for announcing the names publicly. According to eyewitness reports, two men believed to be in their early twenties engaged in a furious gun fight with dozens of police on a backstreet of Watertown.
