The Anti Corruption Bureau Additional Director Kothakota Srinivasa Reddy, who is also the Chief of the Liquor scam unearthed recently, has been hastily transferred with promotion. Mr Reddy is been transferred as the IG for border security. The promotion came on the heels as the Officer had received a notice from a Circle inspector of the department, from Vijayanagaram DIstrict. The notice said that the officer was forced to include the names of the PCC Chief Botsa Satyanarayana and Co in his report by Mr Reddy. As the officer to do so, Mr Reddy is alleged to have abused him and argued with him. The officer demanded compensation and an apology from Mr Reddy. Many critics felt that there could be a larger issue attached to the developments.

The Transfer was issued in the late hours of Tuesday. Intelligence IG Sivadhar Reddy shall now be the new additional ACB Director. Another transfer was announced the same time in which APGENCO Chief Vigilance Officer Krishanand Triparty Ujela is been transferred as the Special Secretary in the Home Department. Intelligence DIG Balasubramanyam has been promoted as the IG of the department. Additional DIG of Intelligence Ambati Siva Narayana has been transferred to the Enforcement department.
