Five persons were killed and another person was injured when a Karnataka RTC bus and a Tata Indica Car were involved in a head-on collision in Chittor district this morning.

The accident took place at Bangarupalyam when the inmates of the car, all from Chittor town, were returning from Tirumala after having darshan of the Lord Balaji. The injured person was admitted to a hospital in Chittor, according to police. (J)
