Union Home Minister P. Chidambaram said today that four political parties have not yet disclosed their opinions on the Telangana issue.

Addressing media persons in Delhi, he said the Government has requested the four parties to give their opinion on the issue at the earliest so that a solution can be arrived at. “We are holding discussions with the four parties and we are hopeful of getting their responses soon,” he told journalists.

Chidambaram also said that an all party meeting would soon be conducted to discuss the issue and appealed to the Telangana youth and students not to resort to suicides. (J)
