On Wednesday March 28 imprisoned senior IAS official and former home secretary B.P. Acharya asserted that in the Emaar case the actual offenders had run away completely free.B.P. Acharya's bail was rejected by the AP High Court, said that Mr.Acharya had been accused in the Emaar case as part of a treacherousness.On the other hand he didn’t disclosed who were the actual offenders.
On a philosophical note, he added, “It’s a fight between dharma and adharma. My conscience is clear. I have never taken a bribe in my career. APIIC shares were not reduced as alleged in the chargesheet.”
Once being the head of the department till recently now in jail when asked concerning to his feelings on the same, he mentioned that "Perhaps i went to jail as i think its all my previous karma.Now i turned philosophical in jail.I am surely a honest one and will come out clean".
