Four daily labourers were killed and another seriously injured when an old compound wall collapsed on them at Kalilwadi in Nizamabad today.

All of them belonged to the Lingammakka Palli Tanda of Vinukonda Mandalam in Guntur district. The neighboring wall collapsed on them when they were involved in basement work where a new building is being constructed.

The dead were identified as Padma, Chaitanya, Venkatamma and Rani. Injured labourer Eeswaraiah was taken to the hospital.
