Telugu NRI Veera Bhadra Rao dies of cancer

Mr. Saladi Veera Bhadra Rao, Programmer Analyst in Alabama State IT Department, USA, died of cancer disease on March 6 while undergoing treatment at Kindred Hospital in Houston.

Veera Bhadra Rao, 38, hailed from Gunnepalli village of East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh and leaves behind his wife Pilla Lakshmi Rajyam.

Mr Rao has been suffering from EHE cancer for the last few months and was admitted to the Houston Hospital recently.

Mr Srinivas Ganagoni of the North America Telugu Association (NATA) has been coordinating his efforts with the family members Prasad Nunna and Saladi Chinta Rao to send the body of Veera Bhadra Rao to India.

The body will be flown to Hyderabad from Houston via NJ in the next two days, according to NATA sources.

“We pray God to rest his soul in peace and give his family courage to go through these very difficult moments,” said AVN Reddy, President of NATA, in a condolence message. Several Telugu personalities in the US have also expressed their condolences on the death of Veera Bhadra Rao and said they were very much saddened at the loss. (J)
