Emboldened and enthused by the UP election results which catapulted the SP towards the pedestal of power, former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu said today his party wouldn’t lose anything even if the Centre creates separate Telangana state before the 2014 elections.
“The election results proved that people would elect parties giving able and strong leadership in states and TDP would be strong in both states even if Telangana is created before the next general elections,” Naidu told media persons in Hyderabad.
Naidu said the people in the UP didn’t repose confidence in the leadership of Mayawathi who got a resolution passed in the assembly for dividing the state into four pieces. “People didn’t believe her statements,” he said.
Describing TRS chief KCR as Vasul Raja and YSR Congress president YS Jaganmohan reddy as the Corruption Raja, Naidu said people would teach them good lessons in the by polls. “There is a lot of difference between by-polls in the past and the forthcoming by-polls and people will prove it,” he said.
Chandrababu Naidu accused the congress, TRS and YSRCP of planning to garner votes with money power. “They have bag loads of money and they want to buy votes,” he alleged. (J)
