Jathi Ratnalu is one of the biggest hits among small-budget films in Telugu. Naveen Polishetty's comic timing and Anudeep's direction made the film a hilarious entertainer. After years, Naveen Polishetty and Anudeep are teaming up again. The duo are working on Anaganaga Oka Raju which was announced in the direction of MAD fame Kalyan Shankar. The project is kept on hold due to various reasons.

Anudeep took over the project as writer and Kalyan Shankar penned the story. The changes are done to the script and the shooting formalities of Anaganaga Oka Raju will start very soon. Naveen too is participating in the script sessions currently. Sithara Entertainments will produce this comic entertainer and the film releases next year. Anudeep played an important role as an actor in MAD, a small youthful film that is doing good business in Telugu states.
