The actor's next film Waltair Veerayya is heading for a record release across the globe during Sankranthi 2023 season. The film is directed by Bobby and is a mass entertainer that is set in the backdrop of Vizag. Shruti Haasan is the heroine and Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is picked up for a crucial role in the film. Two songs on Chiranjeevi and Shruti Haasan are currently shot across some beautiful locations of Europe. Waltair Veerayya is said to be the costliest film made in the career of Chiranjeevi.

Waltair Veerayya is made on a budget of Rs 150 crores. The makers have pocketed huge money through the non-theatrical rights of the film. Devi Sri Prasad scores the music and the first single of the film is already a smashing hit. Mythri Movie Makers are the producers of this big-budget attempt. Waltair Veerayya will hit the screens on January 13th 2023. The film will also have a clash with Balakrishna's Veera Simha Reddy that releases on January 12th across the globe. Vijay's Vaarasudu and Ajith's Thunivu will release during the holiday season.
