Young actor Nikhil has been absent for the past two years and the actor is back with a bang. His recent film Karthikeya 2 is doing terrific business and it emerged as a blockbuster. Karthikeya 2 collected a theatrical share of Rs 15.44 crores over the weekend and it competed with several films like Bimbisara, Sita Ramam, Macherla Niyojakavargam, Laal Singh Chaddha and Raksha Bandhan. Karthikeya 2 recovered the entire investment over the weekend which is huge. The film released in 70 screens across North India and the film is now running in over 700 screens. Karthikeya 2 is made on a budget of Rs 20 crores and the makers are already left in profits.

Karthikeya 2 is a thriller which is directed by Chandoo Mondeti. Nikhil, Anupama Parameshwaran and Srinivasa Reddy played the lead roles in Karthikeya 2 and the film is jointly produced by People Media Factory and Abhishek Agarwal Arts. Kaala Bhairava’s background score and Karthik Ghattamaneni’s cinematography work along with the production houses and performances are the major highlights of Karthikeya 2.
