Nandamuri Kalyanram is on a box-office rampage with his latest offering Bimbisara. The actor did not deliver a hit in the recent years. He spent a bomb on Bimbisara and the trailer caught everyone's attention. The film opened with a bang and had a super strong weekend. Kalyanram released Bimbisara on his own through Dil Raju and all the distributors recovered their investments over the first weekend. After a strong weekend, Bimbisara is also running with packed houses on weekdays. The film collected a theatrical share of Rs 23.65 crores in five days of its run across the globe.
The theatrical rights are valued at Rs 13 crores and the film is expected to collect over Rs 35 crores in its final run. Vassishta made his directorial debut with Bimbisara and Catherine, Samyuktha are the heroines. MM Keeravani's music and background score are the other highlights of Bimbisara. Kalyanram's home banner NTR Arts bankrolled Bimbisara. Kalyanram thrilled the audience as a demon king who is ruthless. He played a dual role in Bimbisara and the team also announced a sequel.
