Natural Star Nani starrer Jersey received critical acclaim and even raked decent revenues in its final run. The film is now getting remade in Hindi with Shahid Kapoor. Gowtam Tinnanuri directed Jersey and Nani, Shraddha Srinath played the lead roles. The film too received two national awards in the categories of 'Best Telugu Film' and 'Best Editing' by Navin Nooli.
