The serial bomb blasts in Sri Lanka that have claimed lives of almost 290 and injured 500 has got the world praying for the safety of all people, injured and alive.
Indian Television actress Radhikaa Sarathkumar, born in Sri Lanka, was in the country to celebrate Easter among her people. She, however, was not ready for what came her way, just like most others.
The actress checked out of a hotel where she was staying - the Cinnamon grand hotel. The same hotel was a spot which was affected by the bomb blasts. As luck would have it enough, Radhikaa lived to tell her story. She left from the hotel only a few minutes before the blast took place.
The five-star Shangri-La, Kingsbury, Taprobane, and Cinnamon Grand hotels in the heart of Colombo were targeted.
Expressing her shock on Twitter over the Sri Lanka bomb attacks, the 'Theri' actress wrote, "OMG bomb blasts in Sri Lanka, god be with all. I just left Colombo Cinnamon grand hotel and it has been bombed, can’t believe this shocking (Sic)."
