Nandamuri Balakrishna announced that he is keen on reprising the role of his father NTR on screen. After working on the script for couple of years, the film has been launched and has been titled NTR. After director Teja walked out of the film, Krish took the responsibility and worked on the script for over a month. All the lead actors have been locked and the regular shoot will commence from July 5th. The makers initially wanted to make the film in two parts. But the latest update says that NTR will be made in a single part and on a crisp runtime.

Balakrishna will be seen in over 60 avatars in NTR and he is currently working on his looks. Hollywood technicians have been roped in for the makeup work of Balakrishna. Vidya Balan has been roped in to play the female lead and Rana Daggubati has been assigned a crucial role. Krish finalized all the technicians for the movie and MM Keeravani is the music composer. Bankrolled by Balakrishna, Vishnu Induri and Sai Korrapati, NTR will hit the screens on January 9th 2019.
