Mega Powerstar  Rama Charan is currently shooting for his next film titled Rangasthalam 1985 which is a village based romantic entertainer. Super talented director Sukumar is the director of the movie and  Samantha is the female lead. The movie has been aimed for summer release next year and the entire shoot of Rangasthalam 1985 will be wrapped up by December. Mythri Movie Makers are bankrolling this prestigious project and Charan signed his next film for Boyapati Srinu.

The movie has been launched officially yesterday and the pooja ceremony took place. The cast, crew are being finalized and the regular shoot of this untitled project will kick-start from January 2018. DVV Entertainments will produce the movie which will be made on a massive budget. Young music sensation SS Thaman has been asked to compose the tunes and he already started working for the project. The film will hit the screens during Dasara next year.
