Superstar Mahesh Babu scored a massive hit last year with the movie Srimanthudu which emerged as the biggest hit in his career. The movie revealed the concept of village adoption which is about adopting villages and developing them. The movie brought huge revolution all over the Telugu speaking states and many celebrities, politicians and industrialists announced that they would adopt a village and develop them.

Mahesh too revealed that he will adopt his native village Burripalem and he even made all the needed preparations for adoption. Though he personally did not make a visit to the village, his wife Namratha and his brother in law Jayadev Galla kept a close eye on the problems of the village.

Now Mahesh made his time and visited Burripalem yesterday spending time with the villagers and he interacted with them to know about the problems. He announced an aide of Rs 1 crore for Women Welfare Organizations in the village which has been huge. He also took his time and he announced that he will take care of all the difficulties in the village and develop them soon.

Mahesh’s latest movie Brahmotsavam completed shoot and is gearing up for a massive release on May 20th across the world.
