Megastar Chiranjeevi who is making his come back with his 150th movie has been in search for scripts and after waiting for more than an year, he has signed the film. The movie will be the official remake of Tamil block buster Kaththi directed by AR Murugadoss. Vijay and Samantha played the lead roles in the movie and VV Vinayak will direct the film.

The pre-production work of the movie is currently in process and the movie will have its official launch during the second half of January next year. Anushka is being considered for the female lead in the movie and she will reprise the role of Samantha.

Vinayak is currently busy transforming the script to suit Telugu nativity and Chiranjeevi is personally taking care of the happenings. Chiru is quite confident on his comeback film and he is working on his looks and the body language to look fit and perfect on screen. The regular shoot of the film will start from the first week of February next year. Devi Sri Prasad will compose the music and Ramcharan will produce the movie on his own banner. Tagore Madhu will take care of the production responsibilities. More details to be revealed soon.
