Popular comedian Kondavalasa Lakshman Rao who shot fame with his debut movie Avunu Vallu Iddaru Istapaddaru passed away last night due to severe health problems. After he grabbed huge recognition with his debut movie went on to act in over 300 films within a span of 12 years. Aithe Ok from his debut movie Avunu Vallu Istapaddaaru is a trending one and is even used today. Some of his famous works include Kabaddi Kabaddi, Satyam, Andarivaadu, Andala Ramudu, Siddu from Srikakulam and Adhurs.
Born in 1946, Kondavalasa worked as a theatre artist for over many years after which director Vamsi has given him an opportunity in films. He has been suffering with health problems from sometime and he has been admitted in KIMS, Hyderabad. He has given more than 1000 stage performances and his body will be placed in Film Chamber today for visit. His final rites will be performed tomorrow. Rest In Peace Kondavalasa Lakshman Rao Garu.
