Superstar Mahesh Babu is back with a bang with this latest movie Srimanthudu. The movie emeged as the biggest hit in the career of Mahesh Babu and Srimanthudu is officially the second highest grosser of Tollywood after Baahubali. Koratala Siva directed this family entertainer and the movie has a strong social message of village adoption which went quite well into the audience. Many celebrities from Tollywood along with the politicians of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana have stepped forward to adopt a village after the release of the movie.

The golden days of Mahesh Babu-starrer 'Srimanthudu' are not yet over. The latest is that AP CM Chandrababu Naidu appreciated the actor and his team for their efforts. CBN tweeted saying “Watched #Srimanthudu @urstrulyMahesh. Great movie on giving back to society. Glad that the message reflects 'Smart Village Smart Ward'”. Sruthi Haasan played the female lead in the movie and Devi Sri Prasad composed the music. Jagapathi Babu and Rajendra Prasad played the other important roles in Srimanthudu which has been produced by Mythri Movie Makers banner.
