Watch Thimmarusu to know about how the facts unfold and how Ram brings the real culprits out.
Analysis
Thimmarusu starts on a slow pace and the director takes ample time to establish the premises and the characters. Once the story unfolds, the narration looks racy. The film's lead actor Satyadev takes the film to the next level with his performance alone. The interval episodes offer a treat to watch and the action episodes are well shot. The best part of Thimmarusu is that the film is not stuffed with songs and unwanted entertainment. Brahmaji takes the film to the next level with his funny one liners. The entire first half looks decent and makes the audience wait for the second half which happens to be quite crucial.
The second half of Thimmarusu is better than the first half though it has enough flaws at times. The film is racy and the narration is gripping. There are no songs in the film and it has no love story at a long stretch. The climax portions of Thimmarusu take the film to the next level and offers a treat for the audience. The performances along with the gripping narration, the background score are the major highlights of the second half. Some of the thrills are unfolded in an interesting manner.
Performance
Satyadev proved his mettle as an actor years ago and he has done impressive films in his career. Thimmarusu is one more film that completely relies on his performance and the actor does a commendable job throughout the film. Selecting a thriller like Thimmarusu is a wise move from the actor and he fits well in the bill. Priyanka Jawalkar has nothing much to do and she doesn't fit well in the role. Brahmaji is the other highlight of Thimmarusu and his performance, funny oneliners are a huge relief for the audience in this engaging crime thriller. Ajay does a good job as a ruthless corrupted cop. Jhansi and Ankith have decent roles assigned and they did their parts well. All the other actors have done their parts well in their limited screen presence.
Thimmarusu is a perfect crime thriller and it sounds quite gripping because of the screenplay. The dialogues throughout the film are good and the narration is good. The music and the background score are the film's strengths and the cinematography work is quite good. The production values of Thimmarusu are good enough and the editing work should has been better. All the other technical aspects are quite supportive. The performances and the lead cast is the major advantage of Thimmarusu. The film's director Sharan Koppisetty does a decent job with Thimmarusu.
Final Word
Tollywood actor Satyadev comes with one more decent attempt and Thimmarusu is good and makes a decent watch this weekend.
